Woman in my family

The above is the woman in my family. Yes. I've got Peranakan blood running through my veins. Come to think of it... Peranakans spoil their sons and their daughters are always second. It's quite ridiculous actually... Lucky I'm an only child so I'm spared from cooking, washing, ironing and all those domestic chores. (p/s : thats why most baba's are more feminine.. cause they're pampered by their mother from young)

Sigh... but most Chinese families also treasure their sons more mainly because they're suppose to pass on the family name to the future genarations. Personally, I hope to have daughters in future and dress her up in Peranakan sarong kebaya. :)

Another thing is that recently, I got accepted into UniSIM. Don't know whether its a blessing or curse... sigh... happy in a way... but sad in another.
Anyway, for my friends who are happily free and enjoying their lives, I hope they can achieve what they want to in life and not regret whatever they're doing.

I seriously wonder what will become of us in 5 - 10 years time. For better or for worse? Who will become the most successful? Who will be the loveliest? Who will remain looking young? Who will be the richest or most famous. Who will have the most kids? Who might pass away? Whoever it may be , shall be.

Using “Sex Kitty in Pink City” Hot Pink Wax and special technique for a more comfortable experience, Brazilian Waxing at Honeypot becomes an addictive indulgence.

Easily Influenced

I'm really fucking seriously easily influenced. And I FUCKING Hate it!!!
Just had a short chat with the IT guy and he emphasized again there my position is very criticle. And when I told him that I was thinking of furthering my studies, he just brushed me off. He said I should be more "cunning" and more "smart"... He thinks I can make use of this to build my wealth. He says I'm single... and everybody has needs. And he warned me against having sex with my boss. He talks lots of crap sometimes... and I don't think it make any sense. I'm actually influenced by all these crap. Shit manzzz....

Well, I think my boss is a very nice boss... but I don't want to make use of him! And to get sell my body just to become rich is a big NO NO. I really want to learn as much as possible and to become important though... to be someone he cannot do without. But one thing the IT guy said is quite true, studying might hinder my work. But I'm getting old.... ahhh... I feel sooo stuck. What should I do???????????????????????????????????????????????? help...

This is the picture outside my
hotel. Beautiful 4 roomed hotel in Gran Canaria.

This is another picture outside my hotel ...
Beautiful view on a beautiful island.

Clear blue skies by the pool... dated 27/10/07

I was eating potato chips with salsa sauce with Shirley by the pool... relax...

Me on a bench, a typical evening in Gran Canaria.

Below is the waiter at an Italian restaurant in Gran Canary, who presented this "surprise meal". This Italian noodle with lobster cost around SGD50 and its similar to"mee pok". But I prefer our Singapore $3 Mee Pok... haha

Together with my collegues (26/10/07) in the casino (Maspalomas)... waiting for the caberet show girls to perform.

Review on the 4 Divas

I took a cab with my grandmother on the 9th September 2007 to Kallang Indoor Stadium for the " 4 Divas " concert. It was quite an unusual experience because I've never went to a concert with my grandma before. haha.. it was nice though.. to spend some time with her. I also notice that there were alot of cantonese audiences.

The concert stared off with the 4 divas with a power house song... their vocals are incredible. All very strong but different. Maria (肥妈 - 玛莉亚) started off first her solo first. A funny lady... she mentioned she had 6 children and 11 grandchildren! I was shocked. Then, she mentioned her "hanging/flabby arms". Damn funny... she said when she sing "london bridge is falling down" to her grandson, she say her hanging arm really "falling" down. Haha.. and she want to "chop chop chop" it off. I laughed to tears. I was inspired by her frankness and shes really comfortable in her own skin. No wonder shes a diva. She also cried when singing a song because shes soo touched. Abit touching.

Next came, Anita Sarawak with her newly curled black tresses. Not very recognisable. She was really energetic and danced and sashayed around like a diva/mad woman. haha... The songs she sang includes :- 'Jing Tian Bu Hui Jia' and 'mambo number 5'. She dressed in a beautiful green flowing dress designed by a top designer.

The 4 Divas then started a combi and the Elisa Chan (陳潔靈), from Hong Kong started to sing her solo with a mixture of chinese and cantonese songs. Elisa had short short hair with a shining shining jacket. She came towards the audience (with her husband carrying her off the stage) when she sang a cantonese song. Her voice is nice too... smooth and melodic. Shes the "youngest" of the 4 divas.

Francis Yip joined her with a dual cantonese song. Francis Yip is a really really great singer. She has a very strong voice. Powerful. Her theme song is "ShangHai Tan" and she also sang an english song about "You don't send me flowers anymore". Lovely and Sweet 59 yeared old lady. She also mentioned she didn't eat rice for 3 weeks. Amazing.

Overall, It was enjoyable. I went for supper with mama after that at Oasis Restaurant as they're famous for their Taiwan Porriage. We ordered Sambal Kangkong, Dao Xi Fish and "Cai Por with Large intestines". Nice supper.
I went home, sleepy but glad with a song in my head.
