Derek invited me to his 21st Birthday Party at his house at Pasir Ris. So nice of him but I told him I'll see hows my mood that day first before I promise him. haha.. Eventually,I went.
It has been awhile since I saw my old poly friends. I think the last time I saw some of them was at a supper gathering at Alamin(Bukit Timah)I took a cab from Bishan to Derek's place that saturday and the taxi uncle soo nice lo... he tried hard to find Derek's house (which is quite inside inside) and even after I got off the cab, the taxi uncle still give me directions on the exact block I'm looking for. Quite happy that the chinese speaking uncle is so kind.
I finally entered Derek's house and was surprised that it's filled with so many unknown faces, consisting of mainly Derek's fan club. A cute girl named Wendy handed me a brouche when I entered Derek's house, something like a mini magazine all about Derek and his blogging and lots of nonsense inside. But I think it's quite creative of him for that.
I think Derek should become a publisher or something... chemical engineering is definately not his field.
